PAMPHLETS ON PLANT SECRETORY STRUCTURES Although it is just a start, we have a few pamphlets on plant secretory structures. Each pamphlet bring a short explanation with illstration or pictures on a specific plant secretory structure. The material is in portuguese as it is used in our outreaching projects in public schools located in Fortaleza and surrouding areas.
BOOK ON PLANT SECRETORY STRUCTURES This nice material is the fruition of a collaboration with Professor Valdnea Casagrande Dalvi. Her love for Botany, especially the plant secretory structures, made her realise the need for a book on plant secretory structures which could be used in schools. Botany is considered a complex and uninteresting topic for many students. Among several factors, this is due to the scarcity of teaching materials and a superficial and decontextualized approach of Botany made by books. These aspects greatly contribute for discouraging the teaching of Botany. With this in mind, we created this book on plant structures secretories, a topic little considered and discussed outside the academic environment, but that is extremely important to us.
